Highland 99 Day 2 (01.08.1999)

Another fine, hot day - an advantage with an early start, but a disadvantage with the difficult running through heather, bracken and thinnings. Came unstuck on legs 6 and 8 (crossing tracks at right angles without taking care to work out _where_ I crossed them). Speed wobbles at the end - sloppy work in the circle. About 7,5 mins of errors for 27th of 167 in H40L, 14 mins down on the winner (Eirik Nass. Ulseth, Norway).
