An OK run for 3rd of 6 in H70 with 45:24, behind Lars Vikström (41:28) and Lennart Karlsson (43:56). Fastest splits to no. 1 (unusual for me!), 5, 6 and 8, but lost 3 mins at no. 3, another 2 at no. 4 and at least 1:30 at no. 10 (the second-last control). Total time lost according to WinSplits = -6:50.

I opted for Svart 5,0 (open) again (not the longer 7,0), and came 6th of 9. Lost about 14 mins with a huge error at no. 8 where I thought for a very long time that the control was on a NE slope rather than on the flat ridgetop... Was rattled after that and lost more time to no. 9 and, according to WinSplts, to no. 11.

Ran Svart 5,0, the longest open course, for 4th of 8. Errors at no. 11 and 15, otherwise OK. Time loss ca 9:15 according to WinSplits.

I ran leg 4 for team 976, IFK Kiruna. Had a good run, apart from drifting to the right on the way to no. 11 and missing it out altogether. Found no. 12 instead... We were probably on track for a placing round 1090th of the ca 1580 teams that finished, so no great shakes.

Svart 7,0 (open course), shared with H18, H45 and H50. 4th of 4 (15th of 17 overall). Time loss about 5:45 mins, with errors at no. 1, 5, 10 and 12.

Ran Svart 5,0 (open course), for 3rd of 7 (18th of 25 overall on the course, with H21). Time loss about 8 mins all told, with 1-2 mins at each of no. 5, 6 and 7, no. 9 and no. 12. Had first equal split to no. 8, and legs 3, 4 and 10 were also good.

Ran the longest open course, Svart 7,0 (with map scale 1:10,000) as training for Jukola in 3 weeks. A solid run as far as no. 7 (won the leg from 6 to 7!) where I was 4th. Was still 4th despite losing time at no. 8, 9 and 13, but lost 2.5 mins at no. 17 and dropped back to 6th (of 6). Time loss ca 6:40.

A solid run to no. 7, but took the straight route to no. 8 (through lots of thinnings - compounded by drifting too far left). The track run on the right would have been better (or left, if it hadn't been hidden under the club logo!). I was also a little slow at no. 11 (found another set of double rocks) and to no. 12. Running a little wide to no. 13 didn't cost me much. Time loss ca 5:30. 6th of 11 on Svart 4,0 (open course).

My first run (literally) this year. A good clean run. First of 15 on Blå 3,0 (open course) with 25:07, 2nd of 29 overall on the course after Torbjörn Lundgren in H70 (24:07).
