Highland 99 Day 3 (03.08.1999)

After a rest day to follow the WOC Classic qualification race we were back to run ourselves. Fine, hot weather again. Caught a guy who started 4 mins before me at 3, then couldn't shake him off. Errors at 8 and 11 through pushing too hard. Finally pulled away a little after 14. About 7:15 in errors for 14th of 173 in H40L, 66:34 for 7.4 km. Winner Eirik Nass-Ulseth, Norway.
