Renlunken (2024-07-07)

Enter-on-the-day course with only 5 competitors.
A very wet run (rain, ca 18 degrees), stony ground/difficult terrain but good, technical orienteering.
Big error (7-8 mins) at no. 1 trying to avoid doubling back from the start triangle (why?). I should have relocated off the open as soon as I realised I wasn't where I thought I was. Otherwise an OK run. Small kinks near a couple of the controls, and it would have been better to run the road from 8-9 (I did quite a good job of the straighter route, though).
