Was a bit stressed getting to the start in time for my Svart 4 (open) course, so didn't do a great job on the first controls. Slow to no. 1, lost about 2:40 to no. 2 and 1:15 (prob. more) to no. 4, as well as making 30 sec errors to no. 5 and 13. Fifth of 10 (and 14th of 23 on the course, shared with D21 and H35).

Ran H60 to utilise a sick clubmate's start-time (I wasn't entered today). Enjoyable terrain, but straightforward orienteering. All the more galling to have made a 2-min error at no. 3 (which I saw but didn't think was mine till I hit the track...) Third of 3 in H60, 8th of 15 on the course (shared with H65, H70, D45 and D55).

Quite a solid run by my standards after taking a longer but safer route to no. 1 (prob. the most technically difficult control on the course). Should have run a straighter route choice to no. 8 (lost ca 3:20 according to WinSplits by drifting right and having a steep climb back to the control). Third of 5 in H65 and 3rd of 10 overall.

Lost about 4 mins at no. 4, stopped early at no. 6 and lost another 1-2 mins with a poor route choice to no. 7. 6th of 8 in H65, 11th of 15 overall on the course.

Out to one side of no. 1 and lost a couple of minutes at no. 2. Hesitant nearing no. 6 and no. 7. Otherwise a solid run (1st of 4 on the Long course).

Technical and tough terrain (rocky and detailed) with some challenging longer legs. Two 4-4 1/2 min errors, losing map contact halfway along the legs to no. 2 and no. 6. I ran an extra 1 km all told. 2nd of 4 on Svart 5.

Great terrain (technical but runnable), terrible weather (rain all day). Had a solid run for 2nd of 4 on Svart 5, and even beat a couple of the 16 competitors in H21 on the same course.

[NB: the controls are numbered incorrectly on these Livelox maps (no. 8 is labelled no. 9 and so on through to no. 17 labelled no. 18).]

I was slow in or approaching the circle at no. 8 and no. 15 (ca 1 min total?). The split to no. 11 is very odd - the clock in one of the SportIdent units (probably no. 10) must have been well out.

A small error at no. 1 (ca 30 secs), and a huge one at no. 3 (26 mins?). Once I lost map contact it was hard to relocate - found the double rocks south of the control a couple of times, but the fire break extended much further than mapped...

Not as technical today - lots of track-running options, and even some controls recycled from the Svart 5 from yesterday. Dropped a min or 2 in the circle at no. 3 and at no. 4 (where my route choice may have been sub-optimal), otherwise OK.

After a clean run on the same map yesterday, a very bad one today... Somehow drifted way right on the leg to 3, overran no 4 by a lot, grid-searched for no. 7 (thought the green crosses were special trees, only worked out later they were tree stumps), made smaller errors on 10 and 13, and wasted more time in the swamp at no. 15. Total errors about 23:45 mins.

A surprisingly clean run by my standards. WinSplits felt I'd lost about 40 secs on the leg to 10 (should probably have run the track out to the left rather than going straight through rather rough forest). 3rd of 16 starters on Open Blå (shared with D45/50/55 and H60/65/70 - 8th of 30 altogether).
